Kimberley Barnes is a marketing professional turned debut author who knows firsthand the roller coaster of menopause. After building a successful career in marketing, including 15 years in the wine industry, she found herself navigating the unpredictable twists and turns of hot flashes, sleepless nights, and emotional turbulence.

Passionate about women’s issues and determined to break the silence around menopause, Kimberley set out to create a relatable, lighthearted narrative that doesn’t sugarcoat the challenges but embraces the chaos with a wink and a glass of wine. Her debut book, Welcome to the Club, A Menopause Thriller, is an invitation to laugh, cry, and commiserate over the shared experiences that unite women everywhere.

She currently lives in the beautiful British Columbia, Canada, with her husband and is the proud mother of three grown children. When she’s not writing or navigating the ups and downs of menopause, she enjoys exploring local wineries and embracing her creative side, whether that’s experimenting in the kitchen, nurturing her garden, or taking on a hands-on project around the house.
